Czarnikow Group Limited (‘CZ’), a leading global supply chain solutions provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Will Rook as Chief Executive Officer, effective from 1st January 2026. This was following Will undertaking the role on an interim basis since the previous CEO, Robin Cave, left the business.
Will Rook joined CZ in 1989 and until last year was a Director and Head of Food Ingredients and Packaging, an area of the business that saw rapid expansion and revenue growth since its inception in 2020. He also founded the VIVE Sustainable Supply Programme, now a world-renowned solution for sustainability verification and continuous improvement.
Speaking on behalf of the Board, Chairman Matthew Lester said: “Will is an exceptional individual, bringing not only deep capability but also a strong founder’s energy to the role. The Board is fully confident in his leadership and in the direction that he is taking the business.”
Today’s announcement follows a rigorous selection process, led by the Group Chairman with the support of a third-party recruitment consultant and CZ’s Chief People Officer, which assessed internal and external candidates over a six-month period.
Speaking on his appointment, Will Rook said: “Today, I am honoured that the shareholders have entrusted me with the role of permanent CEO. As I step into this role fully, I do so with a deep sense of responsibility. I am truly excited about the company’s potential and see many opportunities ahead. I would like to express my thanks to Robin for his leadership since 2009 and wish him well in all his future endeavours.”
